my training came from motorcycle track days. I clearly remember a video where a rider went down in a curve and slid to the right. the following rider with the camera followed the downed bike to the right and ran right into it. target fixation.
4800 miles 8.8 mpg overall. low day of 6.8 mpg high of 10.1, typical day 350 - 400 miles. Ford tow/haul very helpful. 10 spd shifts too much, in roller coaster areas I just disabled the highest gears which eliminated a lot of shifting and didn't seem to hurt mileage at all.
new F250 was great...
Target fixation - a normal human response to focus on a threat. Many times in a video you can see someone wreck when the driver had ample opportunity to evade. Takes training.
slide brand is "Schwintek". noise is not a relay. however, it does seems more present when operating the slide on the battery only. (usually we plug in 1st so slide motors have more volts to work with.) only does it on the largest slide even when camper is quite level. even when making...
Grand Design Camper. used 50psi to blow out each hot and cold line to faucets and shower. ALso water line to commode. removed plug from water heater. removed low point drains one at a time and blew those out with all faucet valves closed. poured RV antifreeze into sink drains to fill traps...
returning from down south. Wondering what is the recommended procedure for insuring water in sink traps does not cause damage.
thx to anyone offering advice.
I would like to add a couple more deep cycle batteries to my 5th wheel. Given the batteries are heavy I just want to make sure the storage compartment is robust enough for another 100+ pounds that would be concentrated in a small area.
check the voltage going to the unit. low volts means higher current which can cause nuisance trips. if you can turn off any other loads on the feedline to the AC unit do that. if problem goes away you know it's a low voltage problem.
