    feedback on hybrid..quick

While I'm not basing this on any factual information, that sure seems like a lot of money for a year-old RV of this type.  When my hubby and I were looking to upgrade from our popup last year, we looked at the newer, bigger version and they were asking 15,000.  We've since gone up a step more...

    new laptop stand

I use my laptop on my lap a lot, but I use those little "lap desktops" that they sell at the office supply stores that have a hard surface with the beanbag underside to stabilize on most any surface.  Along with that, I love, love, love my CoolPad which serves both as a heat dissipator and...

Priorities when shopping for 5th wheel

Thanks, Carl, for confirming this.  One of the parks here in Nevada we plan on frequenting has a 27-foot restriction, and we don't want to be restricted.  Camping in Nevada doesn't leave many options, we feel, other than some of the more primitive places.  Thanks for your input. Pauline

Priorities when shopping for 5th wheel

Gary: You say: "Tough choice, Pauline, and in less than 27 feet you won't have many options, if any at all.  I don't think you will  find any 27 footer with room for a sofa and two chairs, regardless of bath configuration.  Hitchiker has some floor plans that are close to your desires, e.g...

Exterior length under 27'. 2. Hubby prefers the...

Does MSRP usually include hitch setup?

My husband and I are haggling right now on a 5th wheel and can't remember is the list of "includes" on the MSRP included the hitch.  Can someone tell me what is the norm?  TIA Pauline

    Howdy!

All: Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself.  My husband and I are fairly new tent trailer campers -- a couple of years now -- and are really enjoying it.  Unfortunately, work gets in the way of our being able to take off when we want, but we manage to get away every so often to discover...

Park/campsite size restrictions for 5th wheels?

All: My husband and I are considering upgrading from our tent trailer to a small 5th wheel, but are wondering if we'll be able to access most of the sites we've been able to with our pop-up.  We're looking at around 25 or 27 feet for our 5th wheel.  Any advice is appreciated on what is the...
