Crik Walker

We've been enjoying the RV lifestyle since 2003 (a very basic 22' Fleetwood TT). My son began racing motocross in 2002 and for the next 11 years we explored Western Canada/Pacific NW/California following both the amateur and pro race Circuits, mostly on weekends/5 day tours. We were towing a 24' hardwall car hauler w our 2011 Berkshire 390BH DP towards the end, such an Awesome experience.
Racing concluded in 2014 when my son joined me in the trades, ("I cant do both Dad, too darned tiring"). Broke my heart the day he said that, but he's a Helluva tradesman, I attribute that to our support of his passion. The value of the RV lifestyle cannot be understated.
I'm retired now, "crik walking" trout streams/belly boating lakes in these incredible Alberta foothills with my '98 Aerolite 21RDB tow behind. I've been retoring it for 5 yrs now, - there may be light at the end of the tunnel!, lol.
This hardwall trailer is ideal for such a purpose, it sits on a German manufactured fully galvanized frame w tandem torsion axles, my propane and batteries are internal (theft when parked on a cutline can be an issue unfortunately), and its an early example of the "ultralight design", with a dry weight of ~ 2845 lbs.
So 23 years of owning a variety of these challenging/questionably built/mysterious/what's broken now things has taught me a lot.
My little travel trailer passion project is completely off-grid capable now with more features than the previous $200,000+ Diesel Pushers we've owned.
I owe this ability to the RV Forum Platforms, and of all the ones I've sourced this one is by far the best. Every convoluted question I post is promptly answered by knowledgeable, experienced folks whose passion is being helpful. And to that, I am forever grateful.
Enjoy this day!
