I plan on using 3M 1357 adhesive to glue the filon to plywood. I rebuilt my rear wall on my 5th wheel camper and sheeted it with 1/4" 4x8 plywood, to which I will glue a new sheet of filon. I had to purchase a 10 ft long piece although I really only needed 8ft 2in in length but choices in length...

Staybond E-183 is the adhesive that is widely used for bonding filon to foam. It won't attack the foam in the curing process.

I repaired a camper a few years ago where the floor was wet and rotted due to no butyl sealant at the wall to floor seam (from the factory). The trim at this joint covers the sealant (if applied) and unless you detach the trim and inspect, it's not visible. Water apparently seeped and creeped...

We leave our camper powered on, refrigerator on, but also place a half filled cup of water (frozen) with a coin on top of the ice. We check the cup upon return and if the coin is below the surface of the ice, we know power was lost for some period and food may be questionable.
