    Slideout adjustment

As Jeff said, it could be the lever on the back of the slide motor being out of position.  In one position it is unlocked and the slide will move back out.  In the locked position this will not happen UNLESS the lock is broken inside.  It is an electric lock.  I had one fail and had to replace...

Lift Pump on 8.3L Cummins ISC

Gary is correct, the pump runs for only about 20 - 30 seconds.  Have someone turn the ignition on while you listen to the pump.  You said the coach would not start.  What IS it doing?  Does it turn over?  Are the engine batteries fully charged? Need more information, but I doubt the lift pump...

    Adjusting rear vew camera ...

My rear view camera is motorized and can be adjusted up or down about 45 degrees.  It is made by Jensen as it the monitor.  Most cameras are not adjustable except by manually moving them to the desired position.

Hello Jim, I would appreciate a copy and emailing it is fine to rbdtanasi at gmail.  I have the Howard System.  It is a shame it is no longer being produced. Rex Darley 01 Diplomat 40 PBD

Dicor self leveling lap sealant to Silicon

NEVER use silicone.  Nothing will stick to it.  The only thing I have found that worked for me in removing silicone is denatured alcohol and 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper.  An excellent caulk is Geocel 2300.  It comes in clear, white and black and is available from ABS supply a national company. ...

Alternative to Hurricane Isaac (Gulf State Park)

I live a few miles north of Gulf State Park.  When the hurricanes come our way, I go west or east about 300 miles depending on where near us it will hit.  I want to be far enough away to be out of the tornado belt these things generate.  Being on the east side of the hurricane is the worst...

    Replacing a leveling jack spring

Gary, go to Lowe's or Home Depot and get a package of wood shims.  Drive the shims between the spring coils in several places to stretch the spring out.  When you have it all connected, extend the jack a bit and the shims will fall out.

Kitchen slide: Cabinets dragging on floor. Suggestions?

Could be a problem with only the cabinets, or the slide itself.  There may be several rollers under the slide that are worn out, or the slide may only be supported by framing.  If the coach floor gets real wet it will dry rot and then rollers will sink which will drop the slide down.  That could...

2002 Monaco Engine Dies -- Tach/speedo needles bounce

Change the fuel filters.  There should be two of them.  Water in fuel will also cause this problem.  Clean all terminals on the batteries.  If that does not get him started, assuming he does have sufficient fuel, then there are likely codes set in the engine ECM indicating a fault.  The engine...

    '97 Bounder Electrical Problem

The 34J 97 Bounder I once owned had the converter located on the passenger side in the basement compartment just behind the entry door.
