    hello again, thankyou for the quick responses. i got the info from my appliances. the water heater is a "direct vent water heater by American appl mfg corp" made in Santa Monica cal.  the model number was difficult to see but i believe it said RV 6-X. fridge is a domestic RM 2400 gas electric...
