    RV Service Contract

I'm looking for a company that will provide me a 2 year exclusionary service contract on my 10 yo MH. My current contract holder (Go Rv Warranty) apparently went out of business late last year, but not before reimbursing me for a new roof (nearly $20K). I'm not interested in CSP or XtraRide and...

Does New Roof Increase Value of MH?

Because She Who Must Be Obeyed has decreed that if we don't sell it she wants to be able to watch one channel and record on another.  As we all know, this is one of the most necessary of all options on a MH! ::) FWIW, and I should have stated it earlier, I agree that a new rood won't increase...

Does New Roof Increase Value of MH?

A couple weeks ago, we went on a trip from central Texas to SW CO when we got in a terrible wind storm south of Lubbock (go figure!).  Somehow the wind got underneath a seam of our roof (a one piece solid gelcoat roof), lifted part of it and caused three tears in it.  Since it couldn't be...

    Comprehensive vs Collision Insurance

I recently incurred severe wind damage to the rook of my 2004 Itasca Suncruiser while on the road.  To make a longer story shorter, I was hit by a rogue wind blast to the passenger side of the MH and it ripped the rear side of the roof for a distance of about 25 linear feet and also three major...

Roof Top Cracking - Need Advice Quickly

No pictures available and MH is 2004/39'. The part that has been damaged is actually part of the roof that wrapped over the edge and conceals the nuts of the slide out.  It has been ripped and has also torn two jagged tears inward toward the center of the MH.

Roof Top Cracking - Need Advice Quickly

I got caught in a severe wind storm today in my Itasca Suncruiser.  the result was that part of my roof has started to crack, beginning with the curved part that covers the screws et al over the slide out and continuing about 20' down to length of the rain gutter and then in toward the center of...

    Leaking Valve Stems?

Just since I bought them.  Since they are 1,000 miles from me I'll just have it repaired here at home.

    Leaking Valve Stems?

I'm not able to get to the valve core.  The package that came with the rubber extenders specified they were for Goodyear tires.

    Leaking Valve Stems?

I bought six new Michelins (DOT 2012) last year and for some reason I keep losing a considerable amount of air (25-50 psi per week when sitting) from my inside rear dually tires.  I suspect that it may be because the valve extenders (rubber) they installed were made for Goodyear tires, however...

    Winnemucca to Sulphur

Someone on a different forum told me that he uses it to go camping fairly frequently and that he wouldn't hesitate to drive anything he owns on the road.  The long dusty part is certainly an accurate description.

    Winnemucca to Sulphur

The reason I stated it as I did was because I figured there is only one place in the country that fits that description.  How many Winnemuccas and Sulphurs could there be in the same area was my thinking.  At any rate, I've heard from someone else that there is also a decent road from Imlay to...

    Winnemucca to Sulphur

There's only one route I can find and it used to be called NV 49.  I have a MH.

Has anyone ever taken their MH/5ver/trailer on this road?  If so, how was it?

    Mifi vs DSL

I've asked this before but now I'm getting serious about it and need some SIMPLE answers. I'm not a techie, just a user. I currently have DSL at home and pay $45 a month for it. Both my wife and I use the internet, me more than her. I'm on it for email and routine browsing at least four hours...
