All the 12 year old shades were looking pretty ragged. So we ordered new ones from Camping World. Here's the install, along with a quick drive through the RV facility:

Out with the old. In with the new! A real fun project. We had a local upholstery shop redo the dinette cushions. We did all the work on the carpet and bench seat recovering. A learning experience for sure.

We finally finished installing the new carpet under the dinette. We replaced an old chair across from the love-seat with a new RV gaming chair/ottoman. My wife "volunteered" to show off the new chair in the video.

The old couch it replaced was awkward and uncomfortable. Now we'll be able to lean back and watch movies and maybe even take a quick snooze.

The tear-out took several days. Tons of staples in the old carpet. Just about every vinyl tile had to be custom cut. Check it out:

This carpet looks tan, but the original color was silver/gray. Mr. Sunshine has done a number on it over the years. The linoleum is just darn ugly. See all the details here:

This is the exposed...
Thanks! We wanted to just strip the doors to the original natural wood finish, but they had soaked in the "orange" color of the sun-bleached varnish. I felt bad about painting them, but was pleasantly surprised how they turned out.
My wife hates the old headboard. She saw someone on a DIY channel putting ship-lap board on a wall in their home to get that rustic look.
Check out the 2nd photo to see the results after removing the old headboard and replacing it with peel and stick ship-lap.
