I am checking up some fifth wheels for sale. They all look like a good fit for the lifestyle I have in mind. What are the problems to look out for if I were to go for a used one? Do you think buying a new one, even if it costs more, is a safer bet?

You can say that again. After what I found out from you guys, I will need to live like a bird flying south for the winter. Or park somewhere nice and warm down south forever.

And how are you doing it, Kirk? You reckon doing it with a partner is the better way to go? What are the disadvantages going solo? I plan to live alone in an RV. Any advice from you would be helpful.

I hear you. Thank God, I found this forum. Lots to learn before I take on a new life living in an RV 24/7. Are folks here doing this at all or just owners of RV for visiting vacation spots?
