    Plugging 30 amp Rv into 50 amp dryer plug?

    I figured as much.  I wonder if I could get that receptacle rewired to allow the RV to be safely plugged in.  I know I can use a 30amp to 15 amp converter and just power the lights.  I was hoping to get something with more power so I could also turn on the a/c to help dry out a leak.  And then...

    I have a TT-30 125v plug on my RV I have a 10-50 125/250v receptacle in the garage Would I be able to get a converter and extension cord that allows me to plug my RV into the garage?  Or will I damage the camper?
