    HAM operators

    KE7DJQ here. Just purchased a travel trailer and want to eventually put my Yaesu FT857D inside. That would be after the truck install. I currently have an install in my car, but  now that we will be using the truck much more, I want to put it there.

    It's a GMC Sierra 4WD Extended Cab SLE,  year 1997.  The trailer is a 2007 Trail Bay.

    I have a Husky Centerline hitch. The dealer installed it and explained  how it works.  I had not towed anything this big before and the truck  moved more, the trailer moved when trucks passed, and the mirrors were too narrow.
