Well, now I have a different issue. I tried heating a spade bit with a torch, hammered it in and let it cool. Then tried to twist it out but it would not budge. The used a half inch drill bit and removed some of the plastic. I then used a long flat bladed screw driver and hammer to get the...
I have an Atwood hot water heater and the nut portion of the white plastic drain plug broke off and now the threaded portion is still inside the pipe. A speedout extractor is too small to grip the hollow walls of the plug and I tried hammering in an oversize screwdriver head so it would bite...
Just curious why folks prefer a Blackstone grill over a Coleman propane camping stove with pots and pans? I currently have the second but would be willing to go with the first if I understood why. It is normally just my wife and myself when camping.
Thanks, I appreciate the answers. I was wanting to register for one right away but tomorrow is a holiday and could not ask the question to the DOT office.
Was curious. I brought up the North Carolina site to get an easy pass for the toll roads and was wondering if I need to get a transponder for the travel trailer or will the one for the truck work for both? Thanks for any advice.
I'm not going to change out the compressor but the whole unit. It looks to me like it's just bolted in with a simple electrical connector. Those readings were taken with the unit turned off.
I have a Dometic Brisk II 15000 BTU a/c that is not cooling. I did a test of the a/c's compressor on the roof and my readings were common to start 9, common to run 6 and run to start 6 so I am assuming that the compressor is bad and the unit should be replaced. What do you think and is this...
Is there really any need to use a trailer coupler lock when the TT is attached to the tow vehicle. I have an Amplock that I use when disconnected but was not sure about also using a lock on the latch also when disconnected or when connected to the truck. What do you all do?
It says on their site that you can now run the A/C off of a 15AMP breaker from your house. What would happen if it is not drawing enough current? Will it damage the A/C or just not let the A/C start?
Lou, how would I then connect a battery disconnect to this system? Sorry for all the questions but you have been great! Also, does it matter that the only wire on my negative battery terminal is the ground to frame?
I purchased the Victron smart shunt and read in the instructions to attach one wire to the negative terminal and the positive wire of the battery to loads and chargers then from loads and chargers to the other terminal of the shunt. I just want to monitor the status of the lithium battery. Can...
