    Lippert Power Stabilizer Jacks

Check to see if it's seized with rust at the threads and pivot joints. You should have a manual crank point on the other side also, just don't get to aggressive and shear the pin like I did. On mine it turned out that the motor was rusted and seized up. I had to remove the motor and replace one...

Time to replace awning fabric. What should I expect to pay?

If it's only torn where the fabric is attached to the RV would the awning work correctly if one had the beading sewn in about an inch in farther? Just a thought.

Where toget parts for a 1980 era Generac generator?

I have a 1980 Generac 4000W generator that works great but has a leaking electric fuel pump. I can't seen to find anything on the internet. I see they are still in business but they don't seem to list things this old. Has anyone ever bought parts for one this old? If I have to I could use a...

His 40# tank was still half full. He asked me for some ideas, all I could think of "IF " it is fuel related...

Electric Fridge for RV - replacing 3 way - and a/c, gen QUESTIONS

If your fairly handy with tools you could get a rebuilt cooling unit for your frig. and replace it youself. These come as sealed units that require no real refrigeration skills. It's about 1/2 cost of a new RV frig.

    Darn it - Ammonia smell

Sounds like cooling coils are bad. Most likely rusted out. I replaced my own about 4 years ago, it was time consuming but not that bad of a job. If I remember correctly the rebuild cooling unit had a better warranty than a whole new RV refrigerator. You can do a search, at the time I found two...

Need to replace the shut off valve on my propane tank.

Thanks for your replies! I did a search online and found the proper valve for my tank, $60 total. You guys are right I'll sleep better knowing it has the proper valve. I didn't replace the tank because when  I took it out and repainted it about 10 years ago it only had surface rust on it. This...

Need to replace the shut off valve on my propane tank.

The shut off valve on my permanent propane tank leaks a little. Is there a reason that I should not use a valve off of a portable 20# tank?  If so please explain because I can't think of any reason. The RV is a 25 year old class C.                                                             ...
