I don't know if it is still ongoing, but a few years ago our grandkids liked geocaching, which was similar to a scavenger hunt.

My guess is that it has that warning because of possible cross connection with a hose lying open on the ground.

that is a "straw man argument". Responsible riders do not lane split that fast; only 10-15 mph higher than the traffic.
