    Dash air problems again

Hello John, FWIW, we went thru this dash air fiasco a few years ago now... it took about two years to resolve from the first time we noticed a problem.  After numerous shops, diagnostics and re-charges it was still intermittent.  Finally,  I read about the pressure/temperature sensor in the...

    DirecTV dropping DNS

We lost all of the DNS feeds a few weeks ago.  Is anyone saying that they come back? Alternatively, has anyone found a streaming service that effectively replaces the DirecTv services?

    Parasitic Battery Drain Problem

"red wire" is dead; M13 fuse is good and in the correct place;  still parasitic draw so I put the battery on a continuous charge for now.  Maybe after the virus situation gets resolved I can take the Jeep to a shop?  I watched the battery voltage after a full charge.  In 24 hours it dropped from...

    Parasitic Battery Drain Problem

I'll check it once more but as best I recall, the red wire is dead, fuse or no fuse... That, LOL, was the "original" problem that actually started this quest, after the new battery.

    Parasitic Battery Drain Problem

just found this:  M13 supplies power to the cluster, wireless control module, left multi-function switch, and intrusion alarm systems. Maybe some other things depending on how the JK is equipped.

    Parasitic Battery Drain Problem

I didn't do a thorough search but both power sockets in the front console area, the wireless remote key fob for lock/unlock, probably other things and a notification comes on in the display behind the steering wheel "no fuse".  M13 is next to the "switch" in the TIPM that I have to pull for...

    Parasitic Battery Drain Problem

I came home to a dead Jeep Battery... 2008 JK.  Charger had no effect.  So I took the battery in and got a new one.  Once installed I decided to charge it and measure the voltage.  Once charged, I disconnected the charger and the voltage started dropping quickly.  Then I put an ammeter in series...

2001 Winnebago Adventurer generator light on when the generator is off

Just to eliminate some variables, I'd do a complete power "re-boot"... unplug from the shore power, unplug the house batteries, turn the battery switch to "off" and then check to verify that all the lights, breakers and switches are "off".  Then reverse the process and power up again.  One check...

    Seafoam Hot Soak

If spraying "carb cleaner" gets it running, you don't need the starting fluid test.  But, that does indicate that it's not getting fuel the normal way, yes?  If you spray more "carb cleaner" will it keep running even longer?  If so, it's not getting fuel through the carb.  Maybe a new carb would...

    Seafoam Hot Soak

You pose a hard problem to diagnose, especially from a post...! As you know, it's fuel, air and a spark...  sounds kinda like contaminated fuel, water? but running on the SeaFoam Mix kinda kills that theory; must be getting air to run at all but a dirty air filter can cause such problems; that...
