    Tow Rig Question

Okay, I'll admit that I got the horse before the cart.  Earlier this year I bought a 2019 Lariat F150.  About three months later, my wife got the TT bug in the worst kind of way.  We searched high and low and settled on a 30' Hemisphere by FR that is two years old and in immaculate condition. ...

    Kill Switch?

On my boat, I've got a kill switch on my cranking battery.  My boat can set up over the winter with zero draw on the cranking battery, I switch it on a it?ll turn over on the first key turn.  I can put my camper in it?s stall for a week or two and the batteries won?t have enough juice to raise...

    Howdy!!

I know Grand Saline.  Not far from my home town Tyler.  I?ve been in Bowie County since ?96.  Moved here because my old company wanted me closer to my territory which at the time was Arkansas & Louisiana.  Before it was over, I had those states, half of Texas and New Mexico too..  Lake of the...

    Almost Newbie from Nanoose

I thought about redoing an old 26' Airstream I found in Arkansas that was selling for under a $1,000 bucks.  Then I thought about all the other projects I have on my plate and decided that it might not be the best idea.

    Howdy!!

Gotcha!  We keep a pad to jot down notes of what we'll be needing and that list is getting shorter and shorter.  Coffee pot for her, iced tea maker for me, various pots and pans, cooking utensils and so forth, we took out of our old pop-up after cleaning them up.  My camper has a grill on a...

    A/C Leak

To the point on leaking while raining, last weekend we got about 2" of rainfall one night we were camped.  I saw zero leaks anywhere as a result of the rain.  However, I'll snug up the gasket seal nuts just to be safe.  Thanks for the pointer.

    A/C Leak

No, it isn't like a window unit.  When I say vented, it has duct work in the main cabin, the bathroom and in the bedroom that flow from the main unit.  Or I can open the vent inside on the main unit and most of the cool air will flow out it.  The dropping water is coming from the vent on the...

    Howdy!!

I've already got it and used it twice!  We pulled it to a reunion of sorts the first weekend we had it and down to the lake last weekend to a Corps campground on Wright Patmon Lake, down below Texarkana.  The first time we used it, we stayed at a campground that was my wife's old family farm. ...

    Hello

I thought everybody in Minnesota had a vacation cabin on one of the gazillion lakes up there! :D I too am a newbie of sorts.  Semi-retired and just getting into semi-retirement.  I vacation from time to time at a friends cabin on a small lake up NW of Duluth.  Y'all have the prettiest, and...

    Howdy!!

While I'm a newbie to the full sized bumper pull world of RVing, I'm not a newbie to RVing in general.  I've owned a pop-up for the last fifteen years and it was just about used up.  I bought it when my son crossed over into the Boy Scouts from being a Cub Scout, at which time his mother (to...

    A/C Leak

Duh.....I?m really not as ignorant as I sound.  I should?ve thought of that myself.  Thanks for jogging my memory.  I have had two new hips installed over the last 18 months so this sounds like a good Fathers Day chore for my 21 year old welder son. 8) 8) ;D  ;D Thanks folks!!!!

    A/C Leak

Okay, I?m a newbie to the full size bumper pull world.  Recently I bought a new (to me) 2016 FR Salem Hemisphere 30?er.  It has two roof top A/C?s, one vented in the living area and one non vented in the bedroom.  I?ve only had it out twice, once in direct sunlight and once in a shaded site. ...
