    Campground Nashville

We stayed at Two Rivers Campground in Nashville last year.  Great campground, with full hookups, level sites, friendly staff, all the amenities, and even free entertainment poolside!  It's less than a mile from Opry Land Hotel and the Grand Ol' Opry.  Easy drive to downtown. Their web site is...

Grand Canyon - South Rim Campgrounds

I agree with staying at Trailer Village in the park.  We stayed there last year and it's a great place to headquarter while exploring all there is to do at Grand Canyon.  There is no pool or other "amenities" at the campground, but you are at the edge of one of the wonders of the world! You can...

Washington DC to Atlanta Georgia.....overnite stops and locations around Atlanta

If you're into NASCAR at all, plan a stop in Charlotte.  Fleetwood  sponsers a great campground adjacent to Lowes Motor Speedway with full hookups and very reasonable rates on non racing weekends.  Chck the Lowes Motor Speedway website for a link to the campground It's a good place to stop, even...

    Windshield Cover Question

Ditto on Prompt Screens!  We have had them for two years with no problems.  They are easy to put on and remove and no installation at all!  And the people at Prompt were great when we bought them!

Grand Canyon to Zion National Park

We are planing a Trip thru Grand Canyon and Utah next summer.  Anyone know the best route to get from Grand Canyon to Zion?  We don't want to go all the way to Las Vegas.  My maps show some secondary roads from Fredonia to Zion (thru the Kaibab Indian Reservation), and there is the tunnel...

    MAPS

We use MicroSoft's Streets and Trips.  It works well with some easy to use bells and whistles.  You can do trip planning at home and then take the map on the road on a laptop.  We plug a GPS (Available from MS as a package with Streets and Trips) for tracking and instructions.  It's easy to...

Need to sign up with a satalite company for my new MH.

We have DirecTV at home and I just pull one of the receivers and plug it in the MH.  Walmart or Radio Shack has some adapters that convert the screw on Coax connectors to push on.  I put those and some color coded tapes on the wires and the receiver to make hook up or un hook a 30 second job! ...

Tunnel heights - Great Smoky Mountains

Thanks Kenneth!  That makes me feel better about crossing the Mountains.  Also, thanks for the link to others. I'll file that away for future reference.  The Blue Ridge Parkway website has a list of tunnels and their heights, but I could not find anything on the Smokies.  (there are three...

Tunnel heights - Great Smoky Mountains

Does anyone know the clearance heights for the tunnels on US 441 between Cherokee and Gatlinburg?  I've got a motor home that is 12 feet high and planning a trip there this summer.  Can I get thru, or do I have to plan a long way around?

Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Oregon Must Do/Must See

Check out Davis Mountains State Park (http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/findadest/parks/davis_mountains/) in west Texas.  Only a few minutes from Fort Davis National Historic Site(a superb restoration of a frontier fort), a short drive from McDonald Observatory, and great scenery all around. ...
