Is adding 2nd ac really plug and play? (30amp camper)

Are you sure it's prepped for a second a/c? If so, it would be 50 amp. I don't think you can run two a/c's at the same time with 30 amp.

Half a loaf is better than none

The Costco near us sells sourdough bread. It is baked as individual sandwich sized squares.

    Weird LP issue HELP PLEASE?!?!?!

I'm kinda ADHD so I skimmed (sorry). Best way to troubleshoot is one thing at a time. As Kirk wrote what makes you think your converter is bad? If your lights (12V) are working then your converter is probably ok. No working converter here are the symptoms, lights start dimming and...

Warning. Trying to sell our older 5th wheel and lots of scammers.

I've bought a couple of used travel trailers. In both cases the owner and I went to the bank where the owner had a loan out for the trailer. In both cases I financed a small amount from the same bank so the bank officer would get involved. Pretty easy transaction with a bank officer handling...

Musts vs Wants inside and out

Some of it just depends upon use. For us an 8 foot wide works best as it provides more space and towing and parking is not that bad. What is harder to manage is length for towing and parking. I don't need an outdoor kitchen, we just carry a small gas grill. Interior color and finish...

Electric usage and price seem high

I would unplug the trailer from the meter and see if the meter keeps running! As stated above you may be paying for others power.

    Ft. Stockton, Texas campgrounds

Hilltop RV park is good for one night. If I remember correctly they were all pull through sites, all nice and level. No trees. One cool thing was a large working sheep dog came in for attention in the late afternoon, apparently a nightly happening.

Coleman Mach 8 air conditioners pulsating

The only time I run both of my Coleman's at the same time are when I show up and need to cool the trailer off fast. After that I just run one or the other depending upon where I am in the trailer, in the living area I run the bedroom a/c and in the bedroom the living room a/c. If you can do...

    Ok first BIG problem....

You may just need the run capacitor. If the motor is spinning free it is probably going to be the capacitor.

    2018 Tundra SR5

I tow a trailer with a 26' 10" tongue to bumper length and a GVWR of 6995 lbs., with a 2012 5.7 Tundra Crewmax. Stick with your target and limit the length to 27 feet and you will be fine. For me it is pretty much an ideal setup, however I would not want to go any heavier or longer...

Trying to figure out which size truck to buy.....

Hi Avlyn78, good advice above! Since this sounds like your first trailer, just some thoughts. We looked at that trailer when shopping in 2020, decided on Transcend 2450RL, then changed our mind and went with a Transcend 2150RB. Larger trailers are certainly nicer once parked, however...

    Porch light wiring

You must have a ground for the light to work. So, if your old light only has a black wire, the ground has to be at the plate.

    Porch light wiring

It should work. Your old light must have the light case grounded to the metal shell of the RV. What you will need to do is take the red wire on the new light and connect to the black wire from the rv. The white wire will need to be grounded (connected) to the rv shell somehow. You will...

What to buy - Too many choices

It is not easy to know what you will really need/like without trying them first. Renting out one or two will help you make a better determination.
