If you only need to replace the glass, the local glass shop can generally cut a piece of laminated glass to fill the opening. 

I took the low-budget way out...I just sprayed the top of the coupler ball with a bright green paint.  Easy to see, even if the sun is at a tough angle.

We have camped at that KOA a couple of times, and other than the fact that it is pretty crowded in the summer, we enjoyed our stays.  The Spring season shouldn't be as crowded, but it may get a little chilly at night.  The only "up charge" that we experienced was our bar tab....;)
