Kernville Hugh!  That's quite a grade.  I have pulled it at 52 ft long but I would hate to come down without an exhaust brake.  You can also come in from the backside on 178.  Allot easier pull.

Large 4 axle Grand Teton and Ford 250

I can't understand why people just don't get it.  All the information you need is right here on the internet.  You don't have to keep asking the same questions and reinventing the wheel.  I see the same stupid things over and over. Take the time to listen and learn.  Wake up!

    Canoe Rack for Pick-up

I am a canoe and kayak instructor who travels around the country.  I have Yakamia's on top of the truck and a thule goal post on the front for the canoe.  Picture below1 Works great. Art

    Vernal,UT

I'm in Moab on my way to Vernal, Ut.  Seems like there are two routes, 191 and 139 out of CO.  191 sounds like it has a steep incline.  Has anyone driven 139 N. to the 40? Art

Sorry that picture wasn't very good

    airbox hitch

Before I purchased the 5th airborne I did some study.  It seems from other users of the Moyride pinbox that it does more for the chucking than the vertical movement.  The 5th Airborne does both.  If you look at both pinboxes internal workings you will see a vast difference in technology.

    Brake Controller

Brake-Smart or the new Tru-Control,  both expensive.  Next would be Ultima 2020 not to bad price wise.

    DRW vs SRW 1 Ton

Just in general Gary.  Both were heavy duty diesels but the dually is much more stable.  Plus the extra walking from distant parking keeps me younger.

    DRW vs SRW 1 Ton

I am a full timer.  I have owned both and have pulled the same 5th wheel with both.  No comparison.  The Dually is much more stable.  Also most people seem to upgrade later,  something to consider.  The SRW is certainly easier to park but that is the only real drawback.

    dodge dually

I have the 04 3500 Diesel Dually with the auto.  I have 82,000 miles on her with no trouble but I would wait for the new six speed to come out and see how she does.  Braking going down hills is really a consideration.  The new six speed might improve this problem. Art
