    Do You Really Need a DC to DC Charger for Lithium Batteries in Your RV?

    Is a DC to DC charger really needed? I don't care about charging the trailer while towing but I've heard that without it you could do damage to the alternator in your truck.... Anyone have experience with them? Brands to use, ease of install??? I'll be using lithium in the trailer.
