It is 115 degrees and I looked out the front window.

A huge black cloud mass is coming from the East.

The wind almost always blows to the East but not right now.

I can see lighting flashes and the Sat TV just went out.

Amazing that it can be this hot and a storm is coming.  Hopefully just rain and wind.

I put the cars in the RV garage.

In the few minutes that it took me to post this the wind picked up the bar and threw it at the back wall.

I just took this picture and had an older one.

Wow. Gotta love Arizona. Nothing much going on in Phoenix, except the heat! :p

101 F here at the house this afternoon, suddenly got a 48 mph wind gust, with hardly a cloud in sight....go figure!  :)

Were getting wind out of the east tonight in SW Colorado. Unusual direction for us, too.

I watched Good Morning America yesterday and the entire country is boiling except Florida. It was 83 here yesterday and very comfortable. :))

Oregon coast too. Been in the low to mid 60's everyday. We need a jacket most days, and even turn on the heated floors at night.  Stark difference from the weather other places.

What Bill describes is a monsoon. One caught me out on the lake in Havasu some years ago with me and the family in our boat. Weird complete calm on minute, to raging storm with 4' waves crashing over the bow the next. Thought we were going to sink the boat. 10 minutes later it was sunny and bright again. Scary stuff.

Our neighbor who watches our home when we travel said it was 121? yesterday.  Hoping it's only about 100? when we return tomorrow or the next day.  Been thinking of joining the Sarge in Oregon but the old homestead is calling.  I hear it saying, come and water the dirt.  The grass all died after the last heat wave.
