Hi Fellow RVer's!

We have the original "Sightseer". It was manufactured by Travco and sits on a Dodge chassis with a 413 engine. Like the Winnebago Sightseer, 2002, it is also 27'. His name is "George" and is in beautiful, functional condition. Is it legal for Winnebago to take Travco's model name?

I can't be certain, but I thought I read sometime ago, that Winnie bought the rights to the Travco and another brand.  Years ago in the 70's we had Travcos on 2  occassions and both served us well.  Both on Dodge Chassis.  Not sure but I think that was the only chassis available.  Memory doesn't serve me as well as it used too.

Welcome to the RV forum.  If Winnebago did buy the rights to Travco then those rights most likely also included the rights to the Travco name to use as they choose.
