I had bought this R.V. and have fixed a lot up on it, cause the man I bought it from Lied to me after I purchased it I found out from the previous owners daughter it was unsafe and never meant for the road, but inside was in great shape so I hired 3 different mechanic to do the engine repairs that ripped me off for lots of money, but now that I have found an honest mechanic and he has fixed all the maniacal work on the engine, but we are still having a problem. I had a new carburetor installed 2 barrel, a new fuel pump and all new plugs and wires, new starter, and a lot more checked everything, but it still has no pep to move it tries to but can not do it. I have no Manuel's on it and have done all by ear. If you have any book on one or if you may know what I have not tried yet please will you help me.

Your "honest" mechanic is clueless. you still need to find a real mechanic.  That thing is no different than any truck and can be serviced by any good garage.  We can't see it from here, so advice would only be guesses.

Mostly agree with lynnmor - it's a 1982 Ford van like many others.  That doesn't mean you can't get ripped off by unscrupulous mechanics, though.

You can get Ford service manuals for the 1982 van chassis (probably an E350 van) at many auto parts stores or online (Ebay etc).

I had a 1984 Shasta on a E350 chassis, I rebuilt the engine, changed the cam, intake, put a Holley carb. on dual exhaust ect.ect All it did was make more noise and EAT gas, LoL I spent way too much money and time on that thing. Never will I own another Ford, Never LoL. Don't waste You're hard earned dollars on something that's not worth it. I'm a mechanic and it was outrageous how much parts cost for a big block Ford. I sold it and bought my Tracer TT, much happier and the payments are lots cheaper than pouring $$$$ into a 35 year old vehicle. Good Luck!

what do you mean?  'no pep'.  Is it just slow?  Does it not go at all?  It could have anything from sticky brakes, to transmission, to rear end, to you name it.  Give us a bit better details, and we might offer a bit better suggestions.

ps: welcome to the RV forum  :)

Spencer, you took the words right out of my keyboard HAHA! I'm questioning other driveline issues, if this thing won't move at all. Does it bog and stall when you put it in drive? give us some details  :)
