We just got this rv and it's our first, we have figured a lot of stuff out via trial and error... it's been fun actually. We have been looking everywhere for the specs of our holding tank size and can't find it.

Anyone know how big our holding tanks are or how we can find this out?

Yea we picked up the manual already, it is pretty vague. We can get to the tanks, thanks for the formula. We will use it and see how much it holds!

If you really need to know, fill it with fresh water and then dump into a bucket to measure gallonage. But what's the point - it is what it is! After a couple trips you will have an idea about how much time (not gallons) you can go between dumps, and you will perhaps learn to minimize your water usage somewhat.

The tanks won't be large in that type & vintage of coach. It lacks both space and weight-carrying capacity for large tanks, and tank sizes were not generous back in the day. At a guess, something like 25-35 gallons each for gray & black water. And about 35 for the fresh water tank.

Or, turn off the water to the toilet and use a 5 gallon bucket to fill the tank until it reaches the bottom of the flush outlet. I did that with one of our RVs.

We tried to find tank sizes on ours too. We called GD and, they couldn’t tell us either. Well, we know fresh & black. They publish the grey capacity but not the individual sizes of the 2 tank.
