Watch the video to understand the process needed to get one and the phone number to call.  Its NOT available online, and its NOT a spark device.  Its a Mobley.  I already received mine and have activated it, all of which was way more difficult than it was 2 years back when this deal first came out.  But its worth the hassle to get one!  Watch the whole video,  I had to call a few times to get to the right person, otherwise no one can spell mobley at ATT. You must call only that number for anything, including activation or other support.  At first mine would not activate, but they appear to be sending them out registered as an iPhone 4 for who knows what reason.

This appears to be the same great value Connected Car Unlimited plan AT&T offered last year, but there are a few hoops you need to jump through to successfully sign up this time around.

I got my Mobley with this $20 a month plan during the original offer last year and I'm VERY happy with it.

If you prefer written instructions instead of watching a video, go to the article on Technomadia's RV Mobile Internet Resource Center web site:

https://www.rvmobileinternet.com/att-20-month-unlimited-mobley-plan-back-for-a-limited-time-via-uconnect-chrysler-mopar-email-campaign/

Mobley's parent company ZTE is in trouble and the Mobley device is no longer in production, so it's unlikely this offer will be extended once AT&T's inventory of Mobleys is gone.

As they say on TV, quantities are limited so act now!

Thanks for the heads up on this offer. I?ve been kicking myself for not getting the Mobley last time. I called this morning to order but my credit report was locked. Called to get it unlocked. It took awhile to take effect. Just called AT&T back and completed the order.

It?s going to my SD mailing address so will need to have it forwarded. So should have it end of week to be able to activate.

I'm wondering if I should buy a second to keep as a spare

I moved the SIM from my Mobley to a Netgear Unite Explore 815S hotspot around a year ago, and keep the Mobley device on hand as a backup. The current Mobley's are SIM locked, but I was able to get the PUK unlock codes for mine just by asking AT&T tech support for them. Mine wasn't locked, but I wanted the codes just in case I ever need them.

I finally was able to complete the activation of my Mobley today. What an ordeal! I received the device early February when I was in Ajo, AZ.  I tried to activate it, unsuccessfully. Thinking the problem was I wasn?t in a good service area, I drove up to Gila Bend, which shows on AT&T coverage map as having LTE service. Still could not connect to AT&T network. I called AT&T and spent 1.5 hours on phone going from one person to another. The final person said my account was flagged and I needed to go to an AT&T store to present ID.

I left Ajo yesterday for Tucson. First thing this morning I went to an AT&T store to try again. I was there for 2 hours. Fortunately I had a great customer service rep who didn?t give up. He was calling and I was calling and we were both getting passed from one person to another. He eventually also had to get his manager involved and finally they were able to get it activated.

They had to start fresh with a new account and new SIM card. When they did that though it wasn?t coming up with the $20 per month plan. At that point he went in the back to speak with his manger. After about 20 or 30 minutes he came out and said the activation was complete and it would be $20/month. The Mobley is working now but I?m waiting to see what charges are going to come through. I?ll be pleasantly surprised if the billing is correct LOL!

I?m glad I was able to get in on the offer this time, thanks to the heads up from this post that it was being offered.

That sure was an ordeal! Can't believe you had to go through all that, but glad you finally got it resolved.

I recently bought a refurbished  AT&T Nighthawk M1 M1100 on eBay for $139 (Selling for $199 new in the AT&T store) an put my (locked) Mobley sim card in it. I had to use the PUK code to unlock the card. After that, I was connected on 4G LTE using the Nighthawk.
But when you look at your AT&T account under wireless devices is does not show the Mobley anymore but the Nighthawk, I wonder if and how long I can get away with that, time will tell. I will report when AT&T complains or cut me off :)

Now I can use more than 5 devices, print over the network (It has a dual band built-in router on 2.4 GHz and 5Ghz  ) It is faster than the Mobley and you are able to attach two antennas to name a few advantages.

My AT&T account has been showing first my Netgear Unite 770s and now the Netgear Unite Explore 815s that replaced it for almost a year with no repercussions to date. My monthly payment has remained at $23.24 since a 75 cent administrative fee increase last July.

Good to know, hope they keep it that way. Thanks, other Dutch :)   My payment is the same.

The Nighthawk rocks a good buy!

Yep, no question the Nighthawk is nice unit! If my 815s starts giving me problems, that will probably be the replacement.

S there any trick to keep the Mobley from going to sleep. Mine does that a lot and it is very annoying! When it happens I unplug it for a moment and then plug it back in.

It might be a power source problem. I have two kinds of adapters, one that plugs into 110 volts and transforms it to 12 volts and one that is USB and transforms the 5 volts to 12 volts.

The USB adapter plugged into my laptop works great and will not timeout (despite the setting of a 2-hour timeout), the 110V adapter also gives me no timeout.

Where do you plug it in and what kind of adapter is it?

When AT&T deleted the no timeout option I was powering my Mobley via a 12V to USB adapter and it began to timeout. I purchased a 120V adapter and it continued to timeout. Finally, on advice here, I purchased this electronic timer and set it to shutoff for a minute every two hours. I no longer have to do it manually, however every two hours it's off for 60-90 seconds which is a slight nuisance I've learned to live with. Someone recently posted that they too were using a timer, but had one that was only off for one second so the interruption was barely noticeable,

The Mobley sleep timer is designed to shut down 30-120 minutes (selectable) after an engine has been turned off, so it tried to detect a running engine (alternator) through voltage variation.  Power adapters that provide a very stable output voltage cause the sleep timer to run, where power adapters such as old style heavy AC-DC transformers, as well as some of the more cheaply built light weight IC based power supplies allow voltage to fluctuate with load which is always changing on the Mobley which prevents the sleep timer from starting.

p.s. Someone on reddit has published a hack of how to restore the original no-time setting out through a web interface manipulation, it appears firmware 1.0.3 only removed it from the menu option, not from the internal software function.

Any chance you could share that here?

I have the 110 adapter. It is plugged into a power strip. Usually I have my iPhone and iPad plugged into the strip also. Last night I was watching a movie and also had a string of led lights (Christmas lights) plugged into it. The Mobley would shut off about every 10 or 15 minutes. I was connected to it with my iPad. I was not using the iPad other than looking at email every once in awhile.

Can you check on the AC adapter (the part you plug into the power strip) how many amps it has, should be 1000mA or 1A minimal. I have seen that same behavior when there are not enough amps to keep the Mobley running. I assume you have the timeout set to 2-hours?

Found this on Reddit:

It does not look like it is an easy solution or if it even works.

As far as I know, it will start the shutdown timer after it detects less than 11.5 volts. I do not dispute what Isaac said, might be another valid statement why it shuts down.
When plugged into the OBD port of a car and you shut the car off it might also shut off the OBD power hence the Mobley will shut off immediately in that situation
