Just an FYI for anyone looking for replacement lights. Had a hole in the lens and a burnt out bulb in one of my clear foglights. The only markings on the light are a K77 on the front. I didn?t bother calling around to track it down but did happen to notice these same lights were used on 87-93 Mustangs.
I found two differences, the Mustangs use a 55w bulb and I needed a 100w. The Mustangs don?t use a ground wire attached to the light housing like the MH?s do.
For the ground wire I just used a #6 sheet metal screw into the unthreaded hole on the new light, worked fine.
When I ordered the light I asked for it to be shipped with a 100w light vs. 55w. Said they couldn?t do that but would sell me the 100w for ? price. Received a new lens (glass, not plastic) and 100w bulb delivered for $24.95.
Site I used is called Blue Oval Industries. Link for light: http://www.blueovalindustries.com/lighting/1979-1993/foglights/lg1470.html
