Hello,

Hopefully someone here will have a solution or know where to look for solution.

2004 Vectra 40KD- no brake lights, center light works
Our MH is in the shop right now (apparently a reputable shop), and they have diagnosed the issue to be the brake diodes, and that since this part is discontinued, they are unable to get the rear brake lights to function.

Has anyone here ever come across this issue, and a solution?

Can't believe that a discontinued wiring part makes a fully functioning Motorhome totally inoperable, there must be a solution, any ideas would be welcome!

Cheers,
Frank

Diodes? those can be found at any electrical supply you need at least 3 amp at (or more) and PIV 0f 2x battery voltage Making a diode assembly is electronics 100.5 (Not even 101)

Winnebago provides drawings for their motorhomes, so you are in luck. If you visit this link, you will see a listing of the wiring diagrams for the RV that you have and that is the place to start.
Thank you for the info, but I already have that resource, have used it many times already. I'm looking for the 2004 Freightliner XC Chassis wiring diagram, seems like Freightliner does not share that info.
Very grateful to have access to this forum, there are fantastic members who are willing to someone!
Cheers!
