Things don't "die down" when connected to shore power so fair bet you were running on battery until it was drained. Were/are you plugged in? Do you have a voltmeter to check some things?

You say the battery is charged. How are you making that determination? Is there a panel built into the trailer? Are you measuring the battery directly with a meter? Is there a solar panel involved? Are you plugged into shore power?

If the battery is fully charged, then things can't be "dying down". They can only be on or off, i.e. the wiring is connected to the battery or not. And if connected to external (shore) power, the battery isn't even involved unless the built-in converter/charger has failed.

Please explain further what you mean by "dying down" and answer the questions the others asked.

What had happened to the old inverter to make it die down? If you simply replaced it by throwing money at the issue, perhaps you just tightened a loos connection during the process and inadvertently fix the initial problem.
