So I am a new owner of a toy hauler. I noticed that when I am plugged into shore power. My batteries are not charging, even when the generator is running.
I believe I may have to get new batteries.

Is there a specific switch that I need to flip? Could it be an inverter issue? (if so where would that be located).

I do not have the manual showing where all the switches and fuses are on this rig. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you all in advance

Ryan

There should be a battery disconnect switch located somewhere. My 2008 Itasca the switch is located at the door entrance. This switch needs to be on to connect the batteries to the coach and charger/converter.

While you may well need to replace the batteries, you need to do some troubleshooting first to know what the problem is. Do you have and know how to use a multimeter? Do you have 12V power to the lights, furnace, and other appliances when on shore power and/or the generator? If not, the problem may be a failed converter.

is it a towable made by rv factory? Their support is better than a lot of manufacturers so you may be able to get info by giving them a call.

On their 5th wheels they commonly installed the inverter just inside the passenger side basement door.

If it isnt the batteries i 2nd a converter issue as the most likely suspect.

the battery disconnect in that probably looks something like this. Could be red.

Where does it say it is a trailer? Toy haulers can be motorhomes.
The title of the thread has the year make and model. Unless it is a different Weekend Warrior than this one it is a trailer

RV Factory makes the Weekend Warrior and Luxe. They may have made a motorhome at one point but as long as I have been working with them since I bought my Luxe they have only made tow behinds.
