I've just sold out toyhauler and we are currently looking between a 2013 Coachman Concord or the Jayco Melbourne.  We are really interested in the compact size of 30 feet but with three slide outs.  This will be the first class C we have ever purchased.  I'm looking for some feedback on my model choices as well as any additional advice for other models in this category.  Are main concerns are staying under 34 feet, 3 slide outs and trying to avoid dropping six figures.  If someone out there is aware of another model which meets the criteria above please let me know.  I'm still researching different units and often read the general responses.  This is the first time I decided to post something and any feedback would be appreciative.

Hi and welcome!

That Concord won't be in the 6-figures range. Look here to get an idea on price: http://www.mhsrv.com/inventory.asp

Others to check out are the Winnebago Aspect and it's twin, the Itasca Cambria

There's a Forest River Lexington with the 3 slides as well (it does have a full body paint option, but you have to look for it)

(When you're doing Internet searches, make sure you're looking at "Class C" AND "Class B+". Some websites list these as a B+ because it doesn't have the overhead bed over the cab. Others will consider it a "Class C").

Make sure you check outside storage capacity as some have very little. Also, if you plan to dry camp, the tank sizes can also be on the small side there too.

Hope this helps! Best of luck in your search...

You should also consider Class A's in the size range you want, e.g. the Winnebago Vista. You get more coach for the money - more interior space and a more robust chassis with basement storage. Still under 6 figures.
