I have a 2014 Winnebago Tour with dash fan the squeals when on A/C and worse on heat. First, can I fix this and second how do I find where this fan is? I hear it but can?t locate it. Help.

On my Newmar there is a panel containing the radio with switches and controls below which was removed to access the dash fan.

So how much disassembly did you do? I thought you took the dash apart? I would call Owner Relations and ask them before you go any further.

Found it. I removed the Center floor consul and it was under the dash. Lots of wires to move. I removed the fan vane. 1/4? Allen wrench. 10 mm wrench for the 5 fan housing screws. Blew out the dust and lubricated with white lithium spray grease. I?ll order another just in case.

Hopefully you didn't have to take out too much - its right in the middle of the dash.

My lube job didn?t work. It continued to squeal after an hour. I ordered a new updated version from Comfort Air Inc. Cost was $120 USD. Winnebago wanted $295 USD. Same part number.

I’ve got the same problem with my 2014 Itasca Ellipse 42gd which looks the same as pictures you provided. I have removed the center console, but also looks like I need to remove the LH metal panel and the plastic RH panel. Is that the process you followed? It appears there are screws that are difficult to get to in order to remove them.
Thanks, Doug

Thanks for letting me know. I called Winnebago and asked a technician which panel provides access. He said the RH panel slides out. I did that and got access to remove the fan motor.
Thanks, John
