My 31ke has a factory mounted TV (Insignia) to the wall near the door. It doesn’t swivel or lift up. I am clueless as to how to remove this TV in order to access the RG6 cable on the back. I would have thought you could just push up on it or something?? Is there some simple way to do this that I am overlooking? Thanks

The pictures are not the best, but it appears the TV is on a standard wall mount. Look up from the bottom and down from the top. You should see 2 rings. Pull them and the edge of the TV will come away from the wall. Lift off.

Wife and I both looked carefully again and no rings to be found or felt. Sorry for the bad photos but no way to get camera looking close enough behind. From what I can see the only logical way the TV can be attached to the mount is via a “wedge” that the TV is pushed on to. I am reluctant to push too hard on the TV for fear of breaking the mount and creating a real wall disaster. Can’t believe there is no documentation regarding this factory install.

Does this mount allow for tilt and swivel? Then there has to be a latch to pull to drop the TV away from the wall.

It’s definitely not a swivel or tilt mount. There are strips on the bottom and top of the mount with a number of screws. I am assuming those strips and screws simply attach the mount to the wall. The TV must be hung somehow from the mount?

Look for anything that you might hook and pull a slider from the sides. The one I had in a previous RV was on the° right (as you look at it) side. It was just a flat bar with a 90° bend on the end. Pull the bar, lift the tv and pull away from wall. The tv had keyholes in the back and the bracket had studs that fit into the keyholes.

Unfortunately I can’t find any ring or bar to release anything. Were I to remove the 5 screws along the top or bottom that I would simply be removing the entire bracket from the wall. Not something I would undertake.

All of the flat screen TV mounts I've had use a rod or a bar to lock the pivot. The brain surgeon that installed the one in the RV did so before installing some trim, so the only way to pull the rod all the way out was to remove the trim. I resolved that with a drill and a pin in place of the rod. There's only so many ways these mounts work and you can bet for this application it's going to be as generic as you can get.
