2025 Big Trip

We are pre-retirement so it is only a couple long weekends and a "Big Trip" that is a full week. The 2025 Big Trip will be to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We have reservations just north of Luray at Spacious Skies Shenandoah Views. Any suggestions for the area?

You could hike the Appalachian Trail. Couple of years ago we stayed in the park and hiked it…well, about 250 feet of it.

I presume Luray Caverns is on your list already? And I'd include the Luray Car & Carriage Museum too, even if you aren't a car fanatic.
