My son has has a 3/4 ton truck and a toy hauler that are just about worn out.. Since he uses the truck to mostly pull the trailer, he is thinking of going to a MH and trailer for his Razor and bikes… He figures that it might be cheaper than a new truck and trailer, and more livable space… He’s having a hard time finding something in the 30-32’ range with enough holding tank capacity or GVWR and will tow more than 5,000#.. He spends as much as a week in the desert with no hookups and no dump locations, thus the larger holding tanks.. He carries a lot of stuff so wants the higher GVWR and as much storage as possible… Figuring the enclosed trailer and Razor and bikes will weigh north of 5,000#s too..Anybody know of a MH that can do this?

Likely he can't find much because 30-32' is a bit small to get the larger tanks, and there haven't been many DPs that short made. More than 5K towing is likely a DP, and large holding tanks need a lot of space, thus 36' or longer DPs are more likely to meet those criteria, including the larger storage space.

Thanks Larry….There is a Super C that checks most of the boxes… But at $350K the Dynamax Europa is a little out his price range.. Man that thing looks nice though…

It's also more than 32' long, if only by a foot or so, and the website doesn't mention fresh water or holding tank capacities, though it gives most everything else. A separate search indicates that the capacities are not as small as I'd expected though, but not as much as you'd get in a longer unit.

But there may be used ones at a better price. I did find a 2022 and a 2023 in the mid-200s, and I even found a site with 2025 models in a similar price range. But that's still waaaay more than a new pickup.

A case of champagne taste but beer budget, then. As Larry says, those requirements lead to a physically larger coach to to have space for the tanks and a more robust chassis to yield the GVWR to carry a 1000 lbs or so of water. And the chassis that can haul a 10,000 lb trailer is going to be a medium or heavy duty diesel and at least 32 feet (more likely 36+). Older ones at a decent price are actually fairly easy to find but lovingly maintained examples, not so much. Look at non-slide models from around 1998 to 2002 and you might find a gem at a bargain price.

Yea, that 2’ is gonna be tough.. Nexus Wraith 30f is 31’-5” and holds 85/50/50 and 100gal of fuel.. It tows 10,000#… The specs are good but, again out of his price range… I even like the floor plan. ;) …..

Gross Combined Weight Rating is what he needs to be concerned with. He can increase the tow capacity by reducing the GVW. He'd have to have a hitch rating to suit what he's towing. A 7500 lb. likely. If he's not towing anything more than ~6k or so most any Class A gas engine in 30-32' neighborhood would likely work. I tow 6k with a 23k GCVWR 32' foot on an f53 chassis. Going much above ~6k though might be dicey.

My new Flair 29M is the right length, tank size may be a bit limiting, but the tow rating is 8,000 lbs, which doesn't really impact the GCVW.

Nexus Varrado is the cheapest super C that you can get for under 150K, tows 15,000
