Hello everybody,  I have been visiting this site for a year and a I have finally signed up. it is a incredible pool of information. Ok I am looking for info from anyone pulling with the setup listed above or a unit very close. The truck purchase is made thats not going to change and it will be air bagged and outfitted with a hensley air hitch all done by classy chassis. I know all the weights are good matching this toyhauler and truck but am still a interested in feed back a from someone who towes with this truck and the 35?12 or a larger forest river toy hauler.  We will be on the road 2 to 4 monthes at a time and probably not at any one campground longer than a week and trekking wherever we chose across the U S and I will be hauling a bmw R 1000ss and Harley ultra so I know we will be near max cargo capacity. I really want a good towing rig so any input would be greatly appreciated so I make a good choice on the camper. How this combo tows is just as important to me as any creature comforts. Thanks Will

Assuming you have accurately assessed the weights, I would not expect any problems towing that rig.  Just take it easy - 18,000 lbs is a lot of trailer to stop or maneuver when (not if) some idiot pulls out in front of you or cuts you off.

We are 36 long and pulling 20 or 23 feet of car and motorcycle hauler.  People ask my son all the time "what's the hardest part about driving allllllllll that?"  He always tells them that the trailer is never an issue.  Not that our situation is the same as yours but we get varied complaints from people about what they tow, haul, pull.  Ours being a classic car had to have THE best thing we could haul her with and if we did nothing else right it was doing business with Paul at P&T Trailer in Huntsville, Al.  He's a perfectionist and builds trailers for people all over the country.  Our trailer is BEAST!

Ok, I know, back off the coffee!!

See ya on the road.

Thanks for the info . Yes I realize its alot weight to get slowed down i had a cdl ages ago so I know how long it takes to get slowed down. The truck is rated at 21500 and I have been been on motorcycles my whole life I average about 20 k a year on a bike a year and. belive me I know the idiot drivers in every sense there is this.  The truck has unbelievable torque. 830 foot pounds of torque it make so much power with the six speed auto they do not even offer a rear gear ratio option. I figured stopping would be a the biggest concern .Hopefully the trailer being a tripple axle will help braking in reality it is one of the lighter tri axle toy haulers.thank for input.Happpy camping. WILL

Brakes are not always enough - you may have to swerve to avoid killing someone (or yourselves). Been there, done that with a smaller 5W than you will be towing, and it scared the crap out of me!
