My home base is in So cal. I just got back from my winter job. I am looking for a small 5Th wheel with 4 season. I have been to several lots they all seem to have mostly Ultra lite RVs with very little R value. No double windows, open under belly, non heated tanks etc. I have seen the Cougar 1/2 ton four season but that's it. Is this a bad time of year find a four season?

Is cougar a good RV? Other brands you recommend?  I am just looking at this point no where near buying but want to see. Still comparing a fifth vs A. Is there a better area to look? I will be in Illinois and Ohio this fall for 2 weddings this fall. Is it different east of Rockies? I want to stay in the size they say is for 1/2 ton trucks but will be getting a 3/4 if I go with fifth wheel.

I avoid snow but do get below freezing and in summer I am near Vegas where it gets 117+ last year we had several nights(and early am) well above 110 at 1am.
