The dumb part is plungers don't create pressure - they loosen the clog by creating a vacuum on the upstroke.

Yep, I've got it down to a science, you get that nice tight seal between the plunder and the bowl then rapidly push up and down in short strokes being careful not to break that tight seal, lift the plunger and thar she goes
