How did you keep it from walking around while driving ?

Slides are screwed into the face frame in the front and to the wall panelling in the back with some brackets made for the slides. They're self closing slides and stay put when the drawers are in.

Sounds like the "pantry" was actually a wardrobe/coat/shirt closet to begin with, but in any case, this is good utilization of it.
