Aged inventory at a dealer a good thing?

Looks like it might be a struggle to move about inside till all the slides are out.  Personally I wouldn't want an RV that wasn't completely usable with slides in because of quick roadside and overnight stops.  In addition, loading and unloading might add to the inconvenience.

It looks like a good price. Just check it carefully and make sure any problems are fixed before you SIGN ANYTHING. Just because i'st still new doesn't mean it's good to go. And don't fall for the " OH we can fix that after the sale" It will take forever or never happen.

It looks like you might be able to just barely open the refer with the slide in.  That?s not a complete show stopper for me.

I would have them run the slides in and see for myself befor making a deal.

What makes you think that is an unbelievable price? I'm not saying it's not (I haven't research similar makes/models), but make sure you're not being convinced by the dealer's claim of how much below retail that trailer may be priced. That is only listed to make you think you are such a lucky potential buyer.

Secondly, even at the current price make sure it's still something within your budget. And price aside, make sure this trailer's floorplan would work for your purposes. Definitely look at the rig in person too before you decide, as online photos can be deceiving in a number of ways.

That said, on the surface there is nothing wrong with buying unsold/older inventory from a dealer as long as it is discounted appropriately. In a numbers of months, 2020 models will be out and that 2018 will be 2 years old on paper... something to consider for depreciation, which is HUGE on RV's.

The sale price of $38,495 looks like it is about the average list price that this year and model are listed elsewhere.

So the payload capacity is only 605 lb?
And that, supposedly, is before adding any options, right?

Unless the specs are wrong you read that correctly, and 40 gallons of water uses almost all that capacity. Aged inventory can create deep discounts, but that s way below retail but, it never sold for retail.  Keep looking and keep an eye on the capacity.  You will need to carry stuff.

I went to another website to double check the specs. You are correctly reading the specs. I've got a 23 year old TT that has over double that payload capacity.
