We have a 2005 Winnebago Journey, this has happened three seperate times the check engine alarm and kill engine both have flashed lasting approximately 10 sec. all guages and tach are reading true no variation. Has anyone had similar ?

No, not me, but I would be asking a local dealer that can scan for some codes for the chassis (which you did not provide).

I have seen it on a couple of Gas vehicles... I have an ECM to Blue tooth adapter and an app on my phone for the gassers.,., In one case that was the problem and un plugging it fixed it. In other cases Reading the codes gave great insight.

So the advice to have it scanned is good. many auto stores do free code scans at least on Gassers (Like Auto-Zone or O;Rilies)

One more thing Codes come in 3 flavors My names
Hard (persistent) can be read 3 days later (or more) stick till someone clears them with a code reader/clearer.
Soft: stick around till you turn the key off.
Passing: stick around till the problem clears.

NOTE the light.. may go out even while the code is remembered.

A 2005 Journey would be a DP on a Freightliner chassis. Depending on the sub-model (2500 vs 3000), it's either a lighter duty chassis with Cummins ISB and Allison 2500 tranny or the heavier chassis with a Cat C7 and Allison 3000 tranny. There is enough difference between those two to make identifying which it is a necessity before we try to guess.
See the chassis specs at Coaches on Freightliner Custom Chassis | FCCC RV
