Alternative to factory steps

Hi, im looking for an alternative to the factory steps.  I live full time in my RV and i am currently in one place for a few years or more.  The steps are not very comfortable to go in and out of every day and so i thought about building some new ones out of 2x10's.    I also thought about trying some mobile home steps as they are longer and i think they come in 4 levels so less steep.  Maybe a ramp is better?  This would be a permanent fixture.

I have seen lots of idea on youtube but i was curious what works best for those of us that full time in our RV.  From my deck to the bottom of my door is 28 inches.

Thanks, yes i would build those too if i was on the move.  But being here full time i need something that will last through the weather and tons of use.  I found this site that gives you the plans and everything you need just enter the data. decks.com/calculators/stairs

And it came up with this (img attached).  I am not a contracter but seems easy enough, i just have to add the support from the top to the base and close in the bottom.  However i have always been intimiated by steps, one wrong cut and you can toss that 2x10 or 2x12 in the garbage.  Not sure if i should go 4 or 5 steps as i do have to think about the awning might be out as well.  Ill have to set up a mock up and see how it is.
