If you are using a Andersen WDH pay attention to your chain tension when you stop. If you notice that one side is tight and the other is loose then the friction cone and ball have seized and you are putting a significant side load on your rear truck tires. It will rapidly ruin your rear tires and you will be stranded somewhere waiting for the tire store to order LT tires because they don’t stock your size. Fortunately I noticed the problem before I had a blowout or two and slowly made it to a RV park safely.

Andersen recognizes this problem and will gladly send you new friction cones free. Unfortunately trying to fix the hitch on the road may prove to be a problem. I’ll soon know.
