There's good, then there's lucky. I plead guilty to the latter-- sometimes.
Other times, like my fellow Wordlers here, I think the game was designed by sadists when I just stare at those 2 yellow and 1 green, convinced there just ain't no such word. Today for example, it probably spent 10 minutes for that last guess and finally "settled" for the only word I could come up but pretty sure that wasn't it. Who knew.

I'm not one who puts much stock in the first word and use something different every day. 'Ya never know.

Interesting that my "misses" are depicted as black squares while others posing here show up as white. I usually am using my phone & Chrome. Perhaps that's the difference...

I think when anyone gets it in 2 a lot of luck is involved. In this case it probably took me 10 minutes of staring at the damned thing to even come up with any word that fit the 2nd guess. Luckily, that turned out to be the right one.
