Anyone with any experience applying vinyl graphics. The "Journey" logo on the back of my motorhome was terrible and had to be removed, got a new one from Mobility RV. It is a 3 part graphic. I'm assuming that I remove the heavy backing, apply and smooth the logo then remove the front backing material. Anything else I really need to know, anyone....

Yep, you got the Idea, but...

Mix up a spray bottle with water and a little bit of dish soap (1 teaspoon to a quart) soak the area you will apply to and soak the back of the graphic. apply the graphic where you want it (it will slide easily to adjust) then squeegee the water and bubbles out, make sure to do a good job of it. Then soak the top paper and fold over one edge onto itself and gently pull it along itself to remove.

This will be the easiest thing you have ever done!!

We applied our first "dry application" decal, until now they were always applied wet like Steve stated. Unless the instructions specifically state Dry only then the soapy water works best and is by far the easiest.

If it is a dry application let me know, there are a couple of shortcuts that can help. In either case I suggest you outline the location first with masking tape so it can be used as a locator. That will keep it aligned and centered if that's desired. It gives you a bad feeling to stand back and admire your new work only to realize that it's as "crooked a dogs hind leg".

good luck..Will
