We have spent the last 7 years in YUMA.  We are late getting away this winter, but, want to do the Mesa or west Phoenix area this year to catch some spring training games and something new.  There are so many RV parks in the area, it is hard to pick one.  We would prefer a smaller park (not huge like Viewpoint). We don't play golf, so that isn't an issue.  Anyway, just trying to get some feel from those that may have traveled and stayed in that area in the past.    Thanks

About 4 to 6 teams here for Spring training,  We're west of Phoenix at the Pueblo El Mirage Resort in El Mirage surrounded by Surprise, Sun City, Glendale, and Yourngtown.  Glendale Stadiums for football and Hockey is about 4 miles away along with Cabellos.  Many many Golf courses and pools along with Casinos and auto racing available.

We to have spent a few weeks at Good Life in Mesa because it is convenient to relatives. It is an older park with a lot of park models but is much smaller and more homey than Valle Del Oro in Mesa, and Happy Trails in Surprise where we are now.

The only issue we had with Good Life is that we enjoy being around other RVers and the majority of the residents were living in park models . The other parks have a large majority of their residents in RVs.
