Artemis mission launching tomorrow- Back to the moon and beyond...

I woke early this morning (thanks dog  ), saw this post and remembered that I have the NASA channel. Now I'm watching, just like I did when I was a kid. Currently (0353 PDT) on a troubleshooting hold after coming off a 30-minute weather hold.
I hadn't heard of this until today (yeah, I live in the woods, under a rock) but it sure brings back memories.

For those of you who do not have NASA TV just tune your browser to Space.com for coverage. They usually begin their broadcast about 20 to 30 minutes before launch time.

I remember getting out of class and sitting in the gym with a very small tv to watch a lot of the space exploration. What a thrill —- and still is!
My older brother and I used to get up at some ungodly hour to watch the launches. Seems like 4 or 5 AM was a popular as we are on the west coast.

Now I just wake up at the same time to pee.

So it appears that us RVer's aren't the only ones getting defective new units.
Hope they don't have to wait several weeks or months for parts.....

The launch of NASA's historic Artemis I moon mission has been postponed after the team was unable to work through an issue with one of the rocket's four engines.
The next opportunity to send the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft on their journey is September 2, but whether or not another attempt is made that day depends on how testing goes.
