Artemis mission launching tomorrow- Back to the moon and beyond...

The launch of NASA's historic Artemis I moon mission has been postponed after the team was unable to work through an issue with one of the rocket's four engines.
The next opportunity to send the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft on their journey is September 2, but whether or not another attempt is made that day depends on how testing goes.
Translation; the feed from and to the sound stage was lost, besides the green screen hadn’t been taken out the storage locker yet. Evidently the union employee from the motion picture association had the weekend off.

I know, I know...We never went to the moon, right? ;)

Nope, never have. NASA, nor Russia, not India or China, have gotten a human being into true outer space and returned to Earth alive.
I know politics is a forbidden subject here, so I’ll stop.

Not at all, probably the farthest thing from it.
Then you must be someone that believes many thousands of people have kept a secret that big for decades through multiple administrations, some apparently taking it to their graves. Sorry, I've seen too much factual information to be sucked in by any of the nonsense claiming it didn't happen, much less that it didn't happen six times.

I was up around 6am MT to watch the countdown and launch. Later watched the news conference. Disappointing, but clearly a good decision, given Friday 9/2 and at least one more backup date. Hopefully, they can resolve the engine temp and a 'valve issue' on the pad.

Yeah, they're apparently having trouble with the vent system for one of the hydrogen tanks. They say the O2 venting is normal.

I know but they got a bad reading on one tank so they plan to try again next month.

And in other news.. Storm knocked out power for over six hours last night here.. Thanks to left over RV stuff I had zero hardship.

Only aliens live in space.

If man didn't go to the Moon, how do you explain the reflector (placed by astronauts) that astronomers bounce a laser bean off of and back to the Earth (used to measure exact distance of Moon from Earth). I was witness to the Apollo 17 astronauts boarding the Saturn 5 rocket (with my telescope) and watching the launch in person. There have been detailed photos taken of some of the Apollo landing sites, showing the hardware left behind (launch platforms) and even the footprints in the area of the landing sites. Believe what you want but the evidence is stacked against you and you can't get around it.

With so many things that we really need to be concern with (and aren't) trying to disprove history seems like a very silly thing to be doing.

However they will attempt to launch a SpaceX rocket tonight at 8:32 pm.
