Attached Patio anybody???

When in Boise I noticed a King of the Road 5th wheel that had a patio that slides out from uner the trailer.? I don't know if it was original equipment or if the owner designed and installed it.? How many have a patio attached to their Rig that slides in for travel?? See attcach photos.

It was probably original equipment.  I saw the patio demonstrated at an RV show several years ago.  Didn't think it was worth the extra space and weight it consumed, but after being in an extremely muddy camp ground - - maybe it has merit.

I was wondering what the weight penalties are. Also looks like a real fall hazard to me.
