I have tested the sail switch, limit switch, & relay; tested to be sure the propane valves operate.
The ignitor looks clean & healthy.
Is there a way to test to see if the board is trying to ignite? The neon light on the board does not flicker.
I don't want to buy a new board if it's just the actual ignitor.

I no longer hear that tell-tale "click-click-click-click-click" of the ignitor sparking. Last month it started sparking only occasionally (and almost always blowing out & never actually igniting). The orifice is new & clean. The burner is new, rust-free, & clean.

thanks for any suggestions on how to test that the board is firing or not. (or if it might be something else, but all wires & connections are clean, no breaks or corrosion)

You should be able to hear the ignitor 'snap" from the outside access panel when the thermostat is turned on by a helper. Many RV dealers and mobile RV techs have a tester for the boards. I carry a spare Dinosaur universal ignitor board in my spares that can be used with many furnaces and water heaters, as well as for testing purposes.

Thanks. The only noise I hear is the propane valve opening/closing.
So; I'll just order up a new board.
thank you!
